Meet Melissa: The founder of Front Row Cosmetics

Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Melissa is a professional makeup artist with over 10 years of experience in the industry. Her love affair with the beauty industry was sparked after getting hired at MAC Cosmetics and working on her first client. She loves teaching men and women to do their own makeup and strives to make everyone feel confident in themselves. Her super power is her ability to make people laugh - even when they don't want to.

What motivates you?

M: "A mixture of my up bring and knowing I have a team of people relying on me - it makes me work hard to not let them down."

What do you love most about your job?

M: "I love making people feel confident in their skin, thats the part that made me fall in love with all of this 12 years ago and still holds true today."

Meet Marina: Marketing Manager at Front Row Cosmetics

Born in Dallas, TX, Marina has lived in the Raleigh area now for nearly 20 years. A lover of makeup and a passion for social media marketing made her a perfect match for Front Row. She was introduced to Melissa through a friend and has become a valuable part of the Front Row business. Marina handles the social media pages while also working the counter. You can find her doing makeup at Blown Away Raleigh on Saturday's, making her clients feel beautiful in their skin.

What motivates you?

M: "I really love supporting and being part of a local business, seeing it grow and being able to grow with it is an amazing thing."

What do you love most about your job?

M: "I love that I get to play with the newest hottest makeup and tell everyone why it's amazing and seeing how much they love our products."

Meet Rachel: Production Manager at Front Row Cosmetics

A Connecticut native, Rachel moved to Raleigh about a year ago. She studied video production in college, falling in love with visual storytelling. Her love affair with makeup was always a hobby until she met Melissa. Front Row has given Rachel the opportunity to combine her two passions into one creative job. Rachel handles the photography and video production for Front Row.

What motivates you?

R: "My dad, always my dad. He has always worked so hard to give me a great life and I'm always motivated to do my best for him."

What do you love most about your job?

R: "I love being able to work with a small business and having the ability to combine my two passions into one job is better than I could have imagined."
